VERY good video! The A.I. language translation was also: very correct...... and appreciated!
The technical data was proper/good/applicable.
What was NOT explained....... ((which was the entire intent/purpose of the video!!!))....... is that: certain iron (& steel) can be adjusted .....to allow: "audio bleed-through" of low conductor targets co-located in/amongst/around iron. Today..... this has become a CRITICAL function of good detectors & serious hunters. Paramount!

H.R.I.D. = High Resolution Iron Discrimination
H.R.A.D. = High Resolution Aluminum Discrimination
The First Generation of 'Advanced Iron Handling Abilities' was performed through: A separate, independent control that would allow the user to "split hairs"....via: a very fine-tune iron Discrimination knob/pot/control. {Fisher Research Laboratory}
The Second Generation itteration of H.R.I.D. iron Discrimination is on Minelab's Manticore.....via:
Ferrous Limits = UPPER
Ferrous Limits = LOWER
In layman's terms......UPPER is to give/present a fine-tune of adjustability to: nails
In layman's terms......LOWER is to give/present a fine-tune of adjustability to: larger sheet-steel/tin (and steel bottle caps)
This is also to say: There is a fairly large difference between: IRON nails......VS......STEEL bottle caps.
I am REALLY glad to see the industry "catching on" to (and: employing) Ferrous Limits = UPPER & LOWER. It will 'unlock' many of the old "hunted out" sites. It is neat to see VERSA now employing this (a very similar) Second Generation itteration of H.R.I.D.
The biggest training-tool/key...... on HOW to properly set up the UPPER/LOWER limits ..... is dictated by each individual hunting site. . . . . because: The "decomposition" status of---- iron VS steel---- at each individual hunting site..... differs!........therefore: must be tailored to each individual site. First: Focus on the overall average/aggregate minimum/threshold Disc level of the UPPER (the iron)......at each hunt site. Secondly: Then focus on the overall average/aggregate minimum/threshold Disc level of the LOWER (the steel).....at each hunt site.

"Advanced iron discrimination, 3 layers" in Versa 6.14 Nc F1/F2/BC.. allows to improve the separation properties of the detector,, as well as the depth properties of the detector.. if it is properly leveled and properly set...
Yes, another correct observation is also that.. that the terrain properties and the situation of iron contamination in the terrain will be a basic factor on how to properly set the individual layers of such discrimination....
In many cases, the properties and mineralization of the terrain have a very strong influence on how the requirements for proper discrimination of the same iron in different terrain can change...
A well-tuned detector with such a discrimination setting... can more effectively detect...or in it is necessary to unmask other potential targets in the already detected terrain ..which were already detected by other targets ..before the relatively less advanced detection technology of target detection ...
It is mainly smaller targets .... mostly low-conductivity., or medium-conductivity., and possibly also small high-conductivity targets ..where the factor of target size and terrain complexity has not yet allowed to effectively detect targets in depth .,,, and also possibly targets between iron ...

This video from UK... allows you to see quite well how the new VERSA Software of the 6.xx series works, in this case the final 6.14Nc.. in iron discrimination and in unmasking non-ferrous targets among iron..
Although this is a synthetic test... it allows you to reasonably well evaluate the detection properties of the new Versa software *6.14Nc
