This should not be difficult. There is a script available for importing a Phorum database into phpBB. Create a new phpBB forum, convert the old Phorum database to phpBB, and then use SQL to merge this new forum with the existing phpBB forum.

Why don't you just import the entire Phorum database into phpBB?
