In the Rutus VERSA test ..for example, you can see how to optimize the reactivity setting,,and also the setting of *Iron filters.. to achieve the best separation...in such a separation situation...

I still plan to test several other detectors of different brands... to optimize ..the settings for such a detection situation..

Mr. Dankowski.....Sure...really . it will be interesting to test in further-future tests ....the situation... at what depth - below the height level of the iron carpet ...will these coins still be detectable....because it describes very well the detection situations that I experience....

That VERSA is presenting some interesting results....... and........ you can fairly easily tell that...... the two coins are REAL detection......and not 'falsing'.

Most of the sites that I hunt....... are ABSOLUTELY LITTERED with iron debris/nails!!!

EL NINO…….the last Tesoro Majave and Rutus VERSA tests that you performed on your "Monte Magnum" was a great example of how sweep speed and coil control, can help or hurt your results. Your testing also shows how an analog detector that is also monotone is still a very useful tool in the carpets of iron. There’s a lot of older analog detector/coil combinations that still work well in the carpets of iron. Also some of newest SMF machines also work great in carpets of iron, but in the thickest of iron in my experiences the ID is mostly useless on the most challenging targets.I make a decision to dig mostly by audio. I call the thickest iron, machine gun iron, not about getting depth but just a little bit of a peace or a peak of a target to investigate. No one type of a machine or coil combination is going to be best in this type of situation. It take a whole arsenal of machines and coils to make the most finds. Your videos from the beginning of this post are showing this. Thanks for sharing your test and posting your videos.
