links to a few of the "main" threads from the old forum...

Hey all,

While this is NOT ideal, I thought it might be helpful (until Wally can import a few of the historical, prominent threads from the old forum) to provide links to a few of them. The old forum is of course "read only," now, but at least this is a way to find links to be able to go back and read the old threads...

I think this is a great start. I would like to see Random Thoughts and some Vista X included.

JCR -- Good call on the "random thoughts" thread. I had forgotten about that one. I included it in the list, second from the top...

I'll look for a Vista X thread tomorrow.

Thanks!

Steve

JCR -- my search of the old forum did not turn up a thread dedicated to the Vista X. My apologies...are you sure one existed?

Thanks,

Steve

I sure thought so. I will look at my printed references when I get a chance.

Just a "bump," to keep this near the top, for those who care. It would be nice if, at the very least, this could be pasted to the top of the forum as a "sticky," so that it always shows up at the top of the list of threads for those who want quick access to these threads, from the "old" site...

Making this a "sticky," is one of the many things that a website administrator can do. Are we sure there is no way that Wally will allow someone else to assist with "admin" duties, so that some of these things could be done? We are all kind of being held "hostage" here, in a way, wanting the forum to be improved, and folks who would be willing to help do so, but with no way to do see it done...
