Hi,
Curious to know the processing methods used in Manticores all terrain programs, the Deus 2 uses subtraction or addition, does the Manticores use these methods or something else? Thanks

One of the primary differences in the All-Terrain Modes (on Manticore)........ is the grouping of frequencies. For instance:
All Terrain - Low Conductors.......... utilizes a grouping of higher freq's.
All Terrain - High Conductors......... utilizes a grouping of lower freq's.

There is also different factory presets.....between each individual Mode.

And yes.......... algorithmically...... there are (differing) subtraction & addition parameters....... between all the Modes.

Thanks Tom, out of interest which all terrain modes uses subtraction and which use addition?

Its also been suggested that the Manticore dynamically adjusts the frequency ranges based on ground feedback as you sweep, im doubtful its that intelligent though?

Gosh! That's pushing into proprietary stuff!!!

Understood but knowing which all terrain programs use addition or subraction surely isnt giving away trade secrets?

OK thanks Tom, putting the question a different way then, soaking wet pasture field which program would you start with?

In that case....... I would start with All Terrain - High Conductors. IF there's too much feedback (due to wet mineralization)..... then go straight to Beach - General Mode.

That's interesting, why not All Terrain General as it's on pasture Tom?

Because/do-to: the grouping of lower freq's "usually" (in most cases)......can handle wet mineralization better......(((less attenuation))).
A Salt mode (Beach Modes) utilizes even lower freq's.....AND employs the proper phase-shift-angle for wet salt......should your dirt have (even trace-element) salt(s).
