David....... chewing gum foil IS the "low conductor". And if you have the Manticore in All Terrain - Low Conductors......... you WANT it to hit on the low conductor. , . , . , . , . , which is the chewing gum foil........and NOT the gold ring!!! This is (engineering-wise) = BY DESIGN.

BUT........ your test/video/demonstration is valid.....about Manticore hitting on the low conductor (foil)........ and not the higher conductor: gold ring.,.,.,.,.,. whilst in LOW CONDUCTOR Mode.

Recommend Minelab amend Manticore User’s Manual to reflect total package contents.
No headphone charge update cable I don’t think is reflected.

At the very least show this charge update cable on page 68 user’s manual.

The headphone manual does indeed reflect the supplied charge update cable for wireless headphones.

Hi all!

A suggestion to carry out these tests with bags of sand and sea salt, placing a little water in these bags to make them moist, simulating beach sand a little.

I would like to thank nasa tom,for all his hard work over the past year,of helping make it easier for us to evolve from the NOX to the MANTICORE.
The first day yesterday was like trying to tame a wild horse..
Today I collected 3 gold..
I'm running surf an seawater...but will be adapting to beach low conductors soon..
I am working in calm sea water...Image

Today was the first day trying to use Beach.L.C..
HUNTING WAIST DEEP
SENS 18 reduced from 20 in surf & sea
REC 4
UPPER 5
LOWER 1
G.B in 12 inch of water.

The problem I had was a background werring/hum .NOISE..
Could this be coming from the salt water I believe it stops when the voil stops..
How many points of sensitivity between depth of surf&sea vs L.C...
thanks for any feedback..mike
