Detector Manufacturers should consider this with future models some at least

This is an open discussion forum about metal detecting. Please be generally polite and respectful. Please note that Dankowski Detectors now has Terms of Use provisions. Nothing has really changed, its just now everything is written down for the sake of those who in the past liked to argue. If anybody sees anything unreasonable or disagreeable in the Terms of Use, please let me know.

Multi-freq units....... regardless of brand........ will express this.

This scenario....holds true.....for several examples; yet,
there are many examples whereby.....this does not hold true.
Your 'yesterday' video kinda/sorta expresses the latter. The Nickel never waivered. . . . but the zinc/potmetal target......expressed just like the gold ring video...of today.

BUT......... (((all is not lost!!!))).

Not Quite.
Don’t think one will see a 15 point ID change on a gold ring - this is what happened on pot metal junker.
As freq went up ID went down- On the junker (pot metal).
On the gold rings I have as frequency goes up ID goes up.
This using Deus 2 hf 2 coil. Comparing 29 kHz MF band to 89 KHz MF band.
