Re: Where is our old: Gold thread?
That's true, Gold usually leads then silver follows. That's a gold/silver ratio of 75 if gold hits $3000 and silver at $40. These baby seal club silver beat downs are getting old, hopefully we'll see your $40 silver this year. $35.00 Silver is my break even point, high American Silver Eagles premium...

Re: Where is our old: Gold thread?
Haven't looked at Golds most recent Fibonacci cyclical sequence, But Silver sure looks like it's almost there 13+21=34. Next stop after $34 is $55. Maybe we'll see $34 tomorrow, or this coming week? Exciting times ahead, hold strong gang don't let the metals beat downs ruin your day. We are bound to...

Re: Still Finding Targets
Hello Chris and Tom, I understand Chris your reasoning using 12 kHz, going after a selective alloy due to the era of the coin. My reasoning for using higher frequency at older sites, I'm after the thin worn silver coins and although they are considered high conductive the thin silver coinage especia...

Re: Where is our old: Gold thread?
This thread is worth a bump, especially originally started as a Fibonacci cyclical sequence post. I see Silver is starting to get a break, finally! They say the silver/gold market riggers will eventually stop and both gold and Silver will elevate to true levels. Hopefully, This happens soon or at th...

Re: Still Finding Targets
A pleasure Chris, A local friend uses Salt Balance mode in areas not needed, he too mentioned Salt Balance has its positives especially in older sites. I'll need to experiment with Salt Balance, maybe I'll find a use for it. I don't get out often as I'd like too now, taking care of an elderly parent...

Re: Still Finding Targets
Congrats on capturing the deep signals with the Tarsacci, coupled with the larger 12" coil the Tarsacci is a deep unit. I'm like you, prefer Mix-Mode and using the 12" coil over stock coil. I don't use Salt mode but do use 12kHz often when metal detecting. Next time I go out on a hunt, wil...

Re: Where is our old: Gold thread?
To elaborate a bit further... Let's go back in time, about 100 years. Let's say, 1928. Before the Great Depression (after which, everything, price-wise, went haywire for awhile). While numbers vary, depending uon the source, the average price of a car in 1928 was about $400. So, if you wished to pa...
