Re: Tom D... Any new thoughts?

Me too. I've been using your settings LC + Prospecting at wet sand and diving. Incredible outcomes.

Waiting for those comments Okara asks you :)

Thanks!

Re: What are the best wired headphones for an Equinox 600/800?

The ones from SeaGhost. For me, the best headphones.

Louder than Gray Ghost, durable, very simple, and good price. And also waterproof and submersible. What else?

Re: M9 coil?

I would recommend the M8 coil. It sees less salt (subsequently: less salt feedback/chatter)........allowing for higher Sens settings. The M8 coil is more sensitive to earrings, chains, pendants, charms, anklets, necklaces, bracelets ... etc...... BUT....... you may NOT want the small stuff that wel...

Re: M9 coil?

Tom, which one would you choose for diving in salt water? M8 or M9? Why?

With numbers, M8 should see less area/volume, so it should run higher sensibility and deeper search... Or not?

Thanks!

Re: MINELAB MANTICORE: DATA & PERFORMANCE

Thats it! :D

And wanted to know your opinion using that mode in that enviroment. I did a test on friday at the beach, and it was "strange". I didnt like it. However, i tried it on land, and it was nice.

Re: MINELAB MANTICORE: DATA & PERFORMANCE

Thanks Tom! I've read someone who said that on infested iron, RS of 2 gives better tone for separation. I haven't tested it (only because I have 3 little kids, always out of time, and when I go out detecting, is not time to do many experiments ) And, by example, in that trashy sites, what about...

Re: MINELAB MANTICORE: DATA & PERFORMANCE

Hi again Tom,

I have an interesting (and interested) question for you:

In my wet salty beaches from northern Spain, in a zone infested with iron, like a gun machine sometimes, what would be your recommended search mode and settings when using M8 coil for best separation?

Thanks again!
