A good test for me and my detector

Post by skiwhiz »

I traded my Tesoro Tejon for a Minelab Explorer SE with 3 coils, 10" stock coil, small round SunRay coil, and a small butterfly coil. Received it in the mail today and while I was unboxing it my wife came home from work and ask me if I would try to find a ear ring that her coworker lost while mowing her yard, she was wearing a hat and thinks that she lost it when she removed her hat. It is a $600.00 pair of earrings, so I want to find it for her. I am going to have to figure out which coil to use and what settings on the Explorer as I am not used to it. Should be a challenge.

If it's a small earring, use the smallest coil. Test it on another earring like it if you can to see if it can hit it and which coil works the best. Also depends on how big the earring is.

Hope you find it.
