Need advice: Keep F75+ or trade for multi IQ

OK so I'm a long time lurker on here and just registered because I like the detail oriented analysis I've always read over the years. I've been detecting since 1992(13 years old) and started with the 1335-x. Fast forward to today and I have 2 Deus 1(11", 9.5 HF coil), just received a new Xterra pro(have EQ 6" coil coming), and a brand new F-75 SE(11", 5" sniper coils) that I got basically free and sent it into Fisher to he checked 100% and it's solid. My situation is the following: I want to detect all key areas other than the beach(twice a year maybe), freshwater and researched old map spots are my emphasis. I love the Deus 1 and took the Xterra pro for a test drive last night and was AMAZED! Hit a 11" quarter(mild soil) with decent depth vdi considering its a single freq. It's very quick separation/recovery and I already know I got my water machine. Here's my question: should I sell or trade the F75+ for multi IQ say a Vanquish 440 or an Equinox 800? I feel 3 single frequency machines are redundant and like the stability of the ID at depth of multi (had a EQ a few years back). If you were me and had those 3 machines what would you do to maximize the free F75 in order to achieve maximum return on capabilities moving forward. Trade for an Equinox? Or KEEP the F75, if so, why? Thanks a lot and I'll start returning any experience/knowledge I may have moving forward. I always loved this little forum so here I AM! -J.C.

I think your logic is sound. If/when you get a SMF detector you will be amazed at what it can add to your results even in mild ground.

Nice thanks Chris...I guess looking at the F75 history and the success of the model it is making me "pause" on if I'm making the correct decision. I'm looking to make youtube videos and also want to be able to compare different platforms in various capacities. Thank you for your response!

A EQX-600 would be your budget-entrance (into the World of SMF) . , . , . , . , which...... in your application.,.,.,., would be virtually no different (not really losing anything) .... over a EQX-800. This is = IF you are on a budget.

And...... if I were in your shoes......(depending upon budget constraints)....... I would bail (in this order)..... the following units:
1. Spare/Second/Extra: XP Deus
2. F75
3. Xterra Pro
((( IF you even need to bail on ALL of these units))).

BUT. ---- BECAUSE OF YOUR 32 years of skillset.,.,.,.,.,. I would STRONGLY recommend the Manticore. Again.,.,.,.,., because of your skillset. Yes.... a MUCH steeper pricetag (understood); yet, quantifiable.
EQX-700 would be a distant 2nd Place.
EQX-600 would be 3rd Place.

You are not a cat. You do not have 9-lives to live. LIFE is not a dry-run/dress-rehearsal. Do it right.... the FIRST time. --- IF you are deep into the hobby, take the painful plunge...... and reap the extra rewards. Do not allow for regrets and/or second-guessing.

EQX 700 & 900 perform nearly exactly the same.,.,.,.,., BUT....... if on a budget.,.,.,., the 700 would be the (financial) better choice.
