Has anyone seen a good video for beach detecting that shows how to adjust the machine. And use of settings
I been using Tom’s settings for quite some time now. I really can go higher the 18 on sensitivity at the oceans.
When shallow water hunting my sensitivity is at 17 in Tom’s settings. Going higher the machine is to erratic at I am not getting a lot of depth.
A friend was using the excal in a/m mode and I was unable to here his faint target. Raising the sensitivity was too unstable I had too fan away a couple of inches of sand to here his target.
But my main purpose is setting up for ocean hunting and setting the machine to its best potential
