In the second-to-last video you posted (HF2 VS Manticore w/M8).....towards the very end of the video........you were sweeping only the piece of wire........ you used a much faster coil sweep speed (with Deus-2) longitudinally over the wire. This will cause the detector to give a bit of a different response.
Also....... and most importantly =
I feel the need to explain Recovery Speed.
Recovery Speed is ONLY effective with......laterally separated.......targets. When targets are DIRECTLY over top of each other (Top Dead Center)........ there is no 'lateral separation'..................sooooooooooooooo....................... changing Recovery Speed (on any detector) will have near zero effect/resultant.
Still............. good video!
I changed recovery speed just to satisfy the folks watching. There’s always someone out there thst ty to find fault, thinking changing recovery speed would have solved the equation. Why I do the videos like this,
Yes. Slower sweep would yield a tad sparkier signai on the wire, but not near as sparky as when. I was sweeping the other way with gold ring present sweeping the side long ways.
Silencer 4 used. Based on my testing seeems to throw nail shaped/ wire showed to level below 01 ID. Switch to silencer 3 different ballgame sweeping nails (across them) yields a more robust signal with 01 in the meter.
In an area with fewer/few nails user could run at silencer 3 - always expecting to be rotating on 01 tonal signals achieved.
Manticore M8 compared to DEUS 2 HF coil.
Sweeping clad dime and somewhat elevated nail.
Manticore is kept in ATLC.
Both 29 and 53 kHz MF bands checked with Deus 2.
ATLC on Manticore very powerful imo. Shouldn’t be under estimated.
Video comparing Deus 2 hf2 coil and Manticore M8 coil
In this video a silver dime with elevated nail is swept.
With both detectors accepting final gen IH coin and up for disc or notch.
Only ATLC showed with Manticore.
The 29 and 53 kHz MF bands showed with Deus 2.
Sorta eye opening here.
Deus 2 hf coil and Mantocre M8 coil.
Gold ring beneath nail plane.,
Only ATLC used on Manticore even using Manticore with somewhat tight disc based on gold ring ID.
Both 29 and 53 kHz MF bands looked at Deus 2.
Manticore smokes Deus 2 here. Both in signal achieved and ID of ring.
There is some coil size difference. Hard for me to tell how much exactly- width wise.
Still though this video shows something desirable and undesirable over this scenario shown.
With the Deus-2....... there were times where you were getting ID's of 07, 08, 09..... and other times where you were getting ID's of 17, 18 with Deus-2 on the gold ring/nail combo. Isn't these ID numbers AND the high-tone chirp on the Deus-2..... a "DIG ME" signal? Afterall...... the Manticore also ID's the gold ring as a 17 or 18!
(((You may want to explain Deus-2 ID range of 00-35 to the General Public......because the ID scaling is different..... on each platform)))!!!
VERY good video/demonstration. Yes..... the Manticore is more 'resolved' in that test scenario. There has been a TON of engineering blood put into (specifically) the iron handling abilities of Manticore. . . . . . to include some 'firsts'. (((A clue can be seen/witnessed/expressed on the 2D screen........to the astute eye))).
HUGE engineering efforts.
Night time showing HF 2 coil ID behavior comparing 29 kHz MF band to 88.3 single freq. Sweeping gold ring, pull ring, square tab, can slaw, even folded can slaw.
