Re: Little Deus 2 using HF2 coil video I did
With the Deus-2....... there were times where you were getting ID's of 07, 08, 09..... and other times where you were getting ID's of 17, 18 with Deus-2 on the gold ring/nail combo. Isn't these ID numbers AND the high-tone chirp on the Deus-2..... a "DIG ME" signal? Afterall...... the Mant...

Re: MINELAB MANTICORE: DATA & PERFORMANCE
Manticore has opened up an entirely new World..... in regards to tiny gold...in a wet-salt environment. Now add the M8 coil and AUDIO THEME - PROSPECTING......... and the Manticores ability is yet, generationally enhanced again. Relevant side note = A buddy of mine .... just found a 14K yellow 42&qu...

Re: Little Deus 2 using HF2 coil video I did
In the second-to-last video you posted (HF2 VS Manticore w/M8).....towards the very end of the video........you were sweeping only the piece of wire........ you used a much faster coil sweep speed (with Deus-2) longitudinally over the wire. This will cause the detector to give a bit of a different r...

Re: MINELAB MANTICORE: DATA & PERFORMANCE
Whilst in: Audio Theme - Prospecting........the non-ferrous tone is the same/linear ...across the entire non-ferrous spectrum. Two things = 1. Whilst on the wet-salt beach.......the intent/target.... is to dig/recover every non-ferrous target......regardless of non-ferrous conductivity/ID. Especiall...

Re: MINELAB MANTICORE: DATA & PERFORMANCE
In 1 Region - All Tones....... iron is a very low (200Hz) tone. Gold......which is a low conductor.....will give a much higher tone..... in the non-ferrous ID region. And silver coins & jewelry will give a much higher tone (highest tone) as compared to low conductors ....such as gold jewelry. Th...

Re: MINELAB MANTICORE: DATA & PERFORMANCE
If you are looking for tones...... and you have fairly good hearing............... I would recommend coming out of ""Audio Theme - Prospecting"" ..... and go to: 1 Region - All Tones. (Remember...... most gold chains/anklets/necklaces will ID as a 01 - 09). In the saltwater.........

Re: Models currently Offered per Manufacturer - Video - All Detector Manufacturer Reps should Watch
One thing that comes to mind is......... when you have fairly high mineralization ground.......... it is not a good idea to test any detector over a dug/open (large) hole...... with target(s) in it. The coil is passed over mineralized dirt.................................... then continues to pass o...

Looks like: LOWER FREQUENCIES is what works best in your dirt conditions. BUT....... I thought Beach Mode-2 would have performed better...in your dirt conditions.......due to its lower Freq's & less mineralization blowback/flyback. It is interesting to see how 'hot' your dirt is. It can be seen/...
